Benefit Concert with Chris & Michael VonTanner

Friday, March 9, 2018, 7-10pm

There is a suggested donation of $5-25 for the evening. All donations will be split between Greater Goods and the Diversity Collective.

Chris and Michael VonTanner will perform original songs of laughter, compassion and political consciousness for a family audience at Greater Goods. Chris (Tanner) VonTanner has been a performing singer-songwriter for decades. He wrote and performed the acclaimed song “The Sensitive Little Boy” which is documented on Folkways Record’s ‘Walls to Roses’ album and now housed in the Smithsonian.

Chris and his husband, Michael, bring with them a message of healing, awareness, justice, humor and community. In addition to his musical talent, Michael VonTanner will share his gift of storytelling – rooted in the Native American tradition. The Portland, Oregon duo are proud to be able to have The Diversity Collective and Greater Goods receive 100% of the funds donated throughout the night: no amount is too little or too large!! Please bring your generosity, your voice and your whole extended family to Friday night’s performance.

Also…certain local musicians will be making special guest appearances during the night!!
