we are excited to invite you to our first film screening, this sunday at 7:30pm at greater goods:  ron fricke’s wordless wonder, baraka.  named after a sufi word meaning “breath of life” or “blessing,” the film is both, and remains a powerful reminder of the importance of our relationships to our earthly home, our fellow creatures, & our fellow humans.  shot on 70 mm film in 24 countries around the world, it blends religious rituals, the awesomeness of nature, and man’s industrialization into a beautiful & chilling mosaic.

kids are welcome, though some of the content is a bit intense.
