ELAYNE WAREING FITZPATRICK
Fitzpatrick was a city desk reporter for The Salt Lake Tribune; promotion director for KUED-TV (public television station for Utah, Idaho, and Montana) and an Associate Professor at the University of Utah before re-rooting in 1974 on a sunny acre in Carmel Valley to write, play, nurture sheep, goats, Shelties, chickens, and grandchildren.  This, when she wasn’t ‘professing’ and travelling the world to experience charming places still unspoiled by burgeoning industrial development.  She has also taught at the College of Southern Utah and University of Washington and did post-graduate studies in Charles Darwin, Modern Psychology, and Moral Philosophy at the University of Cambridge in England.
