A fun and inspiring family-friendly surf film night on Saturday, October 13 celebrates the local release Ojai filmmaker Elizabeth Pepin Silva’s latest surf documentary, “Introducing the Super Stoked Surf Mamas of Pleasure Point.”
10/4: Thicker Than Water
We kick off a month of thursday night films by the malloy brothers (the ojai/ventura ones) with a screening of the Y2K thriller, thicker than water, a film that played a major roll in rejuvenating surf culture after a long spell of fast paced trick flicks.

this free, all ages event will start with some of ojai’s finest local music by way of Sleeping Chief (Todd Hannigan & friends). we will then get into a couple shorts by Ben Moon, & close with the screening of keith malloy’s new documentary, Fish People. keith, ben, & todd will all be on hand for a Q&A afterwards. patagonia has been kind enough to donate some raffle items, so bring a few extra bucks to try your luck!
